The ARCH Program is coming to Belfast!

We are excited to announce that a new ARCH group will be starting in Belfast. The programme will begin on Monday 3rd October 2022 and will take place in our head office, located at 247 Cavehill Rd Belfast. This programme will run from 10:00am - 12:30pm every Monday and Wednesday over an eight-week period.

What is New ARCH?

ARCH stands for Activity, Recovery, Coaching and Help. The ARCH programme aims to support people to be in a better position to deal with issues across all aspects of their lives that have resulted from their addiction. Improved mental health and well-being of people with addictions is a key focus of this programme as well as providing individualised support to enhance the recovery journey for participants.

To help us celebrate 35 years of addiction services, our talented staff members and service users delivered various performances throughout the night. We were blown away by the creativity and skill of everyone involved, from inspiring drama performances to a powerful and uplifting display of talent from the recovery choir, we had a brilliant mix of impressive acts all night long.

Comedian/actress Nuala McKeever was also in the lineup of talented performers featured on the night as she compèred the event and provided quick-witted humour to keep us all smiling from start to finish.

Thank you to all of our talented service users who created these amazing art pieces to go on display at our GALA Ball last Friday. Everyone in attendance was blown away at the level of skill and creativity our service users showcased on the night. Also on display at our 35-year celebration was the Dunlewey "Stories of Recovery" book, this book offers help and guidance from those with first-hand experience of the journey to recovery, as well as a selection of incredible poems highlighting each person's individual battle with addiction. The "stories of recovery" book was created to inspire, motivate and educate.
