Funding is instrumental in enabling us to deliver and maintain a high standard of care for our service users.
Developing Healthy Communities Northern Ireland have over 30 years experience
improving peoples’ lives. Their innovative programmes focus on improving mental,
physical and social wellbeing.
The South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust was established on 1st April 2007 and
is one of 5 Trusts in total within Northern Ireland. The Trust is an integrated organisation,
incorporating acute hospital services, community health and social services and serves a population
of approx 345,000 people with a budget of almost £500 million.
The Southern Health and Social Care Trust provides health and social care services
across the five council areas of Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Dungannon, and Newry and Mourne.
Belfast Trust is the largest integrated health and social care Trust in the United Kingdom.
They deliver integrated health and social care to approximately 340,000 citizens in Belfast
and provide the majority of regional specialist services to all of Northern Ireland.
Gambling Awareness Trust is an independent charity which funds research,
education and treatment services to help minimise gambling-related harm in Ireland.
The National Lottery Community Fund distributes over £600m a year to communities
across the UK, raised by players of The National Lottery.
The PHA was established in 2009 under a major reform of health structures in Northern Ireland.
They are a multi-disciplinary, multi-professional body with a strong regional and local presence.
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the
learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities.
CPD is a holistic approach towards the enhancement of personal skills and proficiency
throughout a professional’s career.
The Open College Network Northern Ireland (OCN NI) is a UK recognised Awarding Organisation
based in Northern Ireland. They are regulated by CCEA Regulation to develop and award regulated
professional and technical (vocational) qualifications from Entry Level up to and including
Level 5 across all sector areas.
NIADA (Northern Ireland Alcohol and Drug Alliance) is the alliance which facilitates
co-operation among voluntary and community sector organisations supporting those
affected by alcohol and drug use, and their families.
